The Joy of Painting w/ Bob Ross (1983-1994)
Review Date: June 24th, 2022
Hi everyone. This is my 3rd TV Show review now. It’s been about 2 months since I had last done a TV Show review. As I’ve said before & I will say it again, TV Show reviews will not be the focus of Popcorn Office. Popcorn Office primarily focuses on movie reviews. But anyways, let’s get down to the 3rd TV Show review.
The Joy of Painting (1983-1994) is an American 30-minute instructional TV Show that was created & hosted by a famous painter named…
Bob Ross 🎨
In almost every episode, Bob Ross would teach the audience at the comfort of their own homes techniques for landscape oil painting, completing a painting in each session. Sometimes, episodes featured a guest artist, who would demonstrate an alternate painting technique. But still, Bob Ross himself is in every episode of the show.
WARNING: POTENTIAL SPOILERS FOR THE SHOW AHEAD!!
There are 403 episodes of the show. In each episode, Bob Ross would paint away, & I think the paintings that he does are very beautiful. He would paint mountains, forests, rivers, & etc.
I have to admit that watching this show & putting it on the background while I do other things makes me feel very relaxed. Like how I put live streams of certain videos on YouTube. Like the fireplace video, the train video, the aquarium, & etc.
I would definitely recommend this to anyone. This series is everywhere. It’s even free to watch as well.
OVERALL: 10/10
