Netflix

Review Date: August 18th, 2022

Hi everyone. I now have an Instagram for my Movie Blog. You can check it out in the “Contact” Section of my Movie Blog Website. But anyways, let’s get down to the Netflix Review for today. It’s going to be my 2nd Streaming Service Review.

Netflix. Netflix was very popular back in the early-mid 2010s. It had an insane amount of content, that kept its customers satisfied. People used to binge-watch a lot of Netflix back in the day. But the Originals have arrived such as…

1. Stranger Things

2. Cobra Kai

3. Big Mouth

4. The Witcher

& so much more!

Everyone loved the originals. Until Disney+ arrived, which resulted in Netflix gradually removing a lot of content.

That’s why I would choose Disney+ over Netflix. However, Netflix doesn’t seem to be very popular anymore. But here are some examples…

1. Netflix has lost millions of subscribers, & has made them feel very disappointed.

2. Netflix had ended a lot of their Original Shows

3. Advertisements are arriving onto the Streaming Service, which resulted in the Price of Netflix going upwards, making it more expensive.

4. More Streaming Services have arrived such as HBO Max & Paramount+, which also resulted in Netflix removing even more of their content.

5. Netflix doesn’t put more recent movies on Netflix, in order to keep their customers satisfied. Most of the time, they put older movies on there. Which is fine for people who love nostalgic movies, instead of new movies.

I understand that some people only watch Netflix for the Originals, & that’s fine. But when I had Netflix, I remember watching it for the Interactive content. The Interactive content on Netflix utilizes a Choose-Your-Own-Adventure tool, which gives viewers the option to choose an action. Examples of the Interactive content on Netflix are…

1. Minecraft: Story Mode

2. You vs. Wild

3. Dreamworks: Puss in Book: Trapped in an Epic Tale

I think the Netflix Interactive is very cool. It makes me feel very reminiscent of the Choose-Your-Own-Adventure books that I used to read when I was younger. But I’m more into movies, than I am with books though. Graphic novels & comic books are cool though.

In my opinion, I don’t think Netflix is horrible. It’s just that Netflix removed a lot of content, which made it turn from a good Streaming Service, to a not-so good Streaming Service. It could take you hours to find something good to watch on Netflix though.
